Account Connection Data
When you connect a social media account (e.g., TikTok) to Social Poster, we receive authentication credentials and profile information authorized by the platform's API. This may include:
- Access and refresh tokens used to publish content on your behalf
- Your platform display name and profile identifier
- Account permissions you grant during the authorization flow
Content and Scheduling Data
- Post content you create or upload, including video, images, and captions
- Scheduled publish dates and times
- Post status (draft, scheduled, published, failed)
- Platform-specific metadata such as privacy settings or hashtags
Usage and Operational Data
- Which team member created or edited a post
- Timestamps of scheduling and publishing actions
- API responses from connected platforms (e.g., success/failure, post URLs)
2. How We Use Your Information
- To publish content to your connected social media accounts at the times you schedule
- To display scheduled and published post history within the Service
- To troubleshoot failed posts and API errors
- To maintain and improve the Service's features and reliability
- To comply with our obligations to social platforms (e.g., TikTok's developer policies)
3. How We Store and Protect Data
Authentication tokens and Service data are stored in secure, cloud-hosted infrastructure with access restricted to authorized Top Flight Health personnel. Access tokens are used solely to publish content you have scheduled through the Service.
While we implement reasonable security measures, no system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.
4. What We Post on Your Behalf
Social Poster publishes only the content that a team member has explicitly created or approved and scheduled within the Service. We do not generate or publish posts without a scheduled action initiated by an authorized user.
5. Information Sharing
We do not sell or rent your information. We share data only:
- With the social media platform whose API you authorized, to the extent necessary to publish your content
- With our cloud infrastructure providers that host the Service
- When required by law or to protect our legal rights
6. Third-Party Platforms
Social Poster integrates with third-party platforms such as TikTok. Each platform has its own terms of service and privacy policy that govern your account and content on that platform. We are not responsible for how third-party platforms handle your data once content is published. We encourage you to review their policies.
7. Data Retention
We retain content and scheduling data for as long as your account is connected to the Service. If you disconnect a social media account, we will remove the associated access tokens and cease publishing to that account. Historical post records may be retained for operational record-keeping.
8. Your Rights
- Disconnect: You may disconnect a social media account at any time, either within Social Poster or by revoking access from the platform's app settings.
- Access and Deletion: You may request a copy of or deletion of your Service data by contacting us.
- Withdraw Consent: Disconnecting a platform withdraws consent for future publishing to that account.
9. Children's Privacy
Social Poster is an internal tool intended for use by authorized Top Flight Health team members only. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify authorized users of significant changes. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
